Workforce Development Manager at City of Hillsboro's Economic Development Department
Kristi Wilson is a Workforce Development Manager for the City of Hillsboro’s Economic Development Department. Kristi recently celebrated 20 years working for the City and has worked in the Water Department, Parks & Recreation and Human Resources Departments. Over the last 8 years, she has built a robust internal workforce pipeline to careers in public service. Additionally, she has created strong partnerships with the Hillsboro School District and post-secondary partners in efforts to align Career and College Pathways and Career Technical Education programs with high growth/high demand careers in Hillsboro. Kristi is the newest team member in the Economic Development team and will continue to focus on workforce development efforts to create pipeline and skills training opportunities for private sector and community partners. She is an active volunteer, collaborator and community member. Kristi loves spending time with her family, reading, camping, hiking and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
