Since its inception, the NW Electronics Design & Manufacturing Expo (NEDME; formerly OctoberBest) has partnered with Oregon Food Bank (OFB), donating its proceeds to the hunger-fighting organization. In fact, over the 14-year history of the expo, NEDME has donated over 3,200 pounds of food and over $30,000 to OFB.
The reason for the continued support is simple: OFB is making a real difference in the lives of hungry families in our community. The center of a massive network of agencies—over 870—that spreads across Oregon and Southwest Washington, OFB is advocating for public policy, promoting nutrition and garden education, and working to strengthen community food systems.
