Calling 2026 Presenters

We are officially opening the call for speakers for NEDME 2026. This year’s show is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, at the Wingspan Event & Conference Center in Hillsboro, and we are looking for technical and business leaders to help shape the program.

Our 2026 theme is Frontiers: Exploring What’s Next in Electronics and Manufacturing. This is an invitation to share the breakthroughs and practical lessons you’re seeing in the field right now, whether it’s design, assembly, manufacturing, distribution, or business leadership.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking 45- to 60-minute presentations for our four core tracks:

  • Design: Emerging methodologies, signal integrity, power management, new component technologies, and system architecture approaches. We’re looking for technical deep-dives into the tools and techniques shaping the next generation of hardware.
  • Manufacturing: Automation, assembly innovations, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and process optimization. Share your insights on streamlining production, improving yields, and navigating the complexities of modern PCB assembly and fabrication of electromechanical devices.
  • Small Business: The local startup and independent firm ecosystem. Topics include scaling operations, regional networking, and navigating the unique challenges of the Pacific Northwest high-tech market.
  • Management/Plenary: Focused on leadership, market trends, and supply chain resilience. These talks should provide a broad “big picture” perspective on the state of the industry and its future direction.

Submissions that align with our theme, Frontiers: Exploring What’s Next in Electronics and Manufacturing, will be given special consideration. We encourage applicants to be open to evolving their topics to ensure they connect with this year’s vision of industry progress.

Why Present at NEDME?

NEDME is the only event in the region that brings together the entire electronics community in one place. It’s a unique environment where industry veterans, local manufacturers, innovators, and students connect directly on the show floor and in breakout sessions.

For speakers, this is an opportunity to share expertise with a diverse audience that ranges from long-time professionals and reps to the next generation of talent looking for their start in the industry. Whether you’re looking to mentor, network, or showcase a new technical approach, NEDME provides a direct line to the people actually building the future of electronics in the Northwest.
