Jamie Hyneman spent 14 seasons on MythBusters putting conventional wisdom to the test through engineering, experimentation, and a relentless drive to understand how things work. But his work extends well beyond television. He invented the Sentry, a robotic firefighting vehicle designed to operate in conditions too dangerous for human crews. He holds multiple patents, currently serves as Professor of Practice in engineering at LUT University in Finland, and continues to build and innovate through his San Francisco workshop, M5 Industries.
