Mark-Veary

I’ve been in the pcb assembly industry for the last 36 years. I started at Intel-Hawthorne Farms in the early 90’s, where as a Technician, I cut my teeth on early versions of SMT products, equipment and processes. Over my career, I’ve worked for both OEM and Contract assembly houses, starting as a Technician and working my way up thru Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering roles and then finally on to management. The beauty of being a Director at a small contract manufacturer is that I still get the opportunity participate in process development. Throughout my career, I’ve been a member of SMTA and IPC and have given IPC Designers Council seminars on the Implications of Design Choices.

The majority of my post secondary education has been thru Portland State University though I did not achieve my degree.
